i absolutely love the details of this stylized shoot I saw on the sweetest occasion . they planned everything around a fabric and i love that idea to tie everything together.

I think i'd base an entire event around lizzy house's red letter day fabric. i love it so much & think it would be an adorable jumping off point.

love that lasts

I love old love. Nothing melts my heart like seeing two people who have been together for so many years still crazy in love with each other. I can only hope this is Chad and me some day. Thanks Jose Villa!

introducing : kirsten of evapaul!

So yesterday you guys found out about me! Today I'm excited to introduce my good friend, kirsten, of evapaul design!

Kirsten is so funny, talented, creative, and honest. I love that about her, she tells you what she thinks and doesn't apologize for it. We need more people like that in the world. She and her husband Nic are our best friends. They design AMAZING wedding invitations, and have recently added birth announcements (which we'll be ordering! soon!) to their list of talents. They also make really cute kids. Daphne is the best baby I've ever met and I miss her a lot! Check out some of their work and ORDER SOME! Seriously. You would be crazy not to.

hollywood wedding

i happened upon this wedding months ago but it keeps drawing me back.
upon closer inspection, i realized my husband had briefly dated the bride's sister. wow, small world. this has got to be one of my favorite real weddings of 2009.
the dress (made by natalie's mom) is so stunning. natalie made her necklace which i totally adore. i love the hooray sign by etsy seller nice & of course, the hollywood sign.

i'm a freak for stylized shoots- when done well (like this one) they can be such a huge source of inspiration for future brides (and the rest of us) this event was styled by sweet emilia jane and erin ever after completely GORGEOUS!

envelope lining part deux.

i know, i know, i've talked about envelope liners before but i just love them SO much! whenever i run across anyone who is getting married, i tell them to line the envelopes. I read some great tips today on Martha Stewart- use wrapping paper! you need a very thin paper so wrapping paper is genius. Martha also shows us the how to HERE
